Information You Submit
Text entered into a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that query. A message sent to us contains only what you choose to provide, and we use it to address the request.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting service creates routine logs containing an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps maintain the service and show which resources are useful. Cookies or related technology may support basic traffic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How the Data Is Used
These limited records support site operation, troubleshooting, audience measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to government portals, Washington County or Utah offices, library collections, and outside search services. Their own privacy terms govern anything submitted there. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a separate company, so its policy applies to that interaction.
Who May Receive Data
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may also disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since visitors do not create accounts, we hold no account password or member profile for them.
Visitors Under 18
The service is for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Rights
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Chapter 13-61, may give a qualifying Utah consumer rights to access certain data, delete data the consumer supplied, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising or sale, subject to its thresholds and exceptions. We can search our contact mailbox and available server logs for a valid request. Use the Contact page to contact us. Records held by Washington City, Washington County, or Utah agencies remain under the custodian's control, and a private-site deletion request does not erase an official public record.
